Description
The Rothney Astrophysical Observatory is open to
the public for late night observing. Throughout three moonless nights in
September conditions are ideal for focusing on nebulae, clusters, and galaxies
far far away. We will have several telescopes operating and astronomers on hand
to answer your astronomical questions and show you the amazing Alberta
sky.
This is a drop-in event, so no need to
pre-register. The nights are devoted to observing the night sky. The next talk
and open house event is Saturday September 28th. Please check sky conditions on
our website before heading out to the observatory.
