Get Those Taste Buds Ready

In the mood for an Iced Elephant or Sangria? How about some chocolate covered strawberries, or turtle cheesecake and pannekoeken with fresh fruit and whipped cream?

Whatever your craving, you should have no difficulty finding something to please your taste buds at this year's Taste of Calgary. This outdoor festival of food and drink returns to Eau Claire Market with samples inspired by Asian, Japanese, India, Greek, Mexican, Dutch, American, Canadian, and British cuisine.

Thirty of Calgary's finest and unique restaurants and beverage companies will be at the festival offering great food, cool drinks and live entertainment. Don't miss past year's People's Choice Awards winners returning for repeat performances such as Bombay House Butter Chicken and baja Rosa's new lineup.

Admission is free and once there you can purchase taste tokens (60 cents each) to get any of the food or beverage menu items at the festival. Everything is sample-sized.
