    The Skinny

    The annual Festival on the Bow is a free two-day event offering something for everyone including the BBQ on the Bow "Alberta Championship" and "Backyard BBQ Competition," plus an eclectic mix of entertainment and fabulous BBQ and other food for sale.

    For the the little ones, there are games and hands-on activities plus free Kool-Aid Jammers and Kraft Ritz Minis at The Kid's Spot (open 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

    Since 1993, the BBQ on the Bow Society has been a registered not-for-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in Calgary socially, culturally and economically and hosts this special event each year. Last year's event saw upwards of 20,000 people.
