In the early morning prayer meeting, we read the book of Exodus, in which we can see the fight between Moses and Egyptian magicians. Aaron the spokesman and elder brother of Moses threw his staff down and it became a snake. But the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts.
Then Moses raised his staff and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts. Then Aaron stretched out his hand with staff over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land. But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts.
Then God changed the dust of the ground into gnats, and sent the swarms of flies, terrible plague, festering boils, hailstorm, locusts and darkness on the Egyptians. The Egyptian magicians tried to do the same things like God. But they failed. That is, God is superior to all the Egyptian magicians.
Brothers and sisters, no men or no gods are superior to our God. God is superior to the medical doctors. Therefore even the outstanding doctors have to learn from God. God is superior to the scientists. Therefore even the remarkable scientists have to learn from God. God is superior to the politicians, Therefore even the veteran politicians have to learn from God. And God is superior to the artists. Therefore even the talented artists have to learn from our God.
Brothers and sisters, don't forget. God is superior to me, to you and to all of us. Therefore we have to learn from God everyday. If we obey his teaching, we will be superior and high ranking. But if we do not obey his teaching, we will not be superior and high ranking. No one can live happy and successful life without God's teaching.
Nowadays many parents want their children to learn many things. My daughter learns swimming. And my wife learns table tennis very hard. And I am a talented athlete especially in breathing, so that I am breathing everyday, every hour, every minute.
The Korean people and the Canadian people are eager to learn swimming, piano, Taekwondo from the teachers or coaches. But why they do not try to learn from God who is the best teacher and best coach. They pay the tuition fee for the teaching. But God wants to teach us without the tuition fee. But why they do not come to God to learn from God. Why they ignore God, the best teacher ?
If we learn from God, our life can be happy and we can be happy persons. But why they keep themselves away from God ? Why they do not follow God's way but their own way ? Brothers and sisters, don't forget. The human's way is not superior to God's way. At first, they think their
way is superior to God's outdated way. But when they look up their eyes, they will recognize, "Aha, God is superior to me !"
Let me tell you my father's case. He moved to South Korea from North Korea when he was 18 years old. He became a professional realtor and architect. And he tried to make a big money by his own way. But he was swindled and imprisoned for 150 days at the age of 60. After coming out of the prison, he confessed with tears, "We are bankrupt. I am no longer able to make money !"
At that time I said to my father, "Father, don't worry about making money. God will give us money." In the bible God says, "The silver is mine and the gold is mine." (Hag 2:8) After all God gave us money so that we can spend money for the works of God.
Brothers and sisters, God is superior to us especially in making money even in this foreign land. The money that we make does not bring us happiness. But the blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. (Proverbs 10:22) God gives us money with peace and happiness.
Therefore let's make money in this foreign land, not by our own way but by God's way. And let's teach our children by God's way. And let's do all the works by God's way. God's way is superior to my way.
When Jesus taught the crowds, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught the superior teaching to the teaching of their teachers of the law. (Matt 7:28-29) And when Peter and John preached the gospel with the great wisdom and knowledge of the Spirit of Jesus, the rulers, elders and teachers of the law were astonished, because they knew that Peter and John were unschooled. (Acts 4:13)
Brothers and sisters, to be taught by God is superior to be taught by men. Therefore Jesus said, "Come to me and learn from me." (Matt 11:28-29) And bible tells, "All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ." (Col 2:3)
After the devil killed Jesus on the cross, he was overjoyed and said, "I overcame Jesus. I am superior to Jesus !" But after three days, who won the victory ? Jesus won the victory because Jesus was resurrected.
Bible tell that the number of the devil and man is 666. (Rev 13:18), and the number of God is 777. That is, God is superior to the devil and men. The number 666 is the imperfect number, but the number 777 is perfect number. That is, God does the works perfectly, but the devil and men do the works imperfectly.
Brothers and sisters, do you want to live your life with the imperfect number 666 ? Or do you want to live your life with the perfect number 777 ? If you live your life with the human way and human number, the unexpected failure will wait for you, and the end of 666 will be the hell and judgement. But if you live your life with the God's way and God's number, the end of your life will be peace, joy and the kingdom of God.
Brother and sisters, do you want to choose the devil's number 666 or God's number 777 ? Of course, we want to choose the God's number 777, and we want to be blessed by God in this foreign land. But in the last days the devil forces everyone to receive 666 mark on his right hand or on his forehead. That is, the devil entices the humans to live their life by the human's way, so that the humans face eternal judgement. with the devil.
Therefore we have to be awake in order not to fall into the curse of 666. And we have to resist 666 so that the curse of 666 can not capture our family. And we also have to pray that 666 cannot invade our church. Furthermore we have to strive to be blessed by 777. And we have to stand by 777 which means God's way and God's plan.
Brothers and sisters, keep in mind. 777 is superior to 666. And the gap between 777 and 666 is a pretty long distance that it cannot join together, because 666 is the devil's number and 777 is the God's number.
Brothers and sisters, why we are so eager to pray ? It is because God is superior to us, and we want to follow God's way not my way, isn't it ? And don't you think our faith has to originate not from my wisdom nor from my power but from God's wisdom and God's power. And don't you think that's why we pray with humble attitude, "Lord, help me. teach me."
Brothers and sisters, keep this in your mind when you are in Korea or in Canada or anywhere else. "God is superior !"
