My birthday is November 22 by the lunar calendar. It is around Christmas day by the solar calendar. I heard my mother had received Christmas gift when she gave a birth to me. When I was a elementary school student, my dad gave me a nice Christmas gift as my birthday gift. It is skate. I was really overjoyed. My childhood memory of Christmas is merry Christmas. I think Christmas is the day of receiving gifts.

All of us was death-sentenced because of our sins and transgressions. Our spirit was dead. Our body is about to be dead soon. But we are alive because of our Jesus Christ. The everlasting life, eternal happiness, the kingdom of heaven is ours.
An American child named 'Lyan‘ had hemophilia. He became infected with AIDS because of blood transfusion. Doctor said he could live only 6 months. School authority expelled him out of school even though there is no infection risk. His family went to court. He could go to school again. He lived 5 years miraculously. But death time came to him. His dad said,
"My son. I am so sorry. I can't do it anymore. I can't give any gift anymore for you. Please forgive me." His son answered, "Dad, I have had so many gifts in my life. But nobody gave me the more precious gift like dad gave me. Dad gave me the ticket to go to the kingdom of heaven. Dad introduced Jesus to me. That's why I could go to church because of dad. I have most precious gift. That is eternal life. There is no more precious gift than this. Thank you. Dad."
Brothers and sisters, Jesus is much more precious gift than nice house, nice car, nice smart phone.... How can we receive the gift? Just reach out your hand. and receive it. You can receive Jesus with your heart belief and mouth confession. If you receive the gift with thanks, it will be yours.
But so many people do not want to receive the gift. But today I ask you, "Please do not doubt. Just receive it with thanks." Jesus is the biggest gift from God. Today's scripture says, "I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people."(Luke 2:10) Let's say together, "I have received the best gift."
Jesus has so many other gifts for us. Please ask him to give me such and such gifts, so and so gifts. Ask him, "Lord, heal me. Lord be my best friend. I don't want to be blue in Christmas." Our Jesus want to give gifts to us. He want to be my best friend.
